1970 Speedmaster ST.145.022 : ST.145.022

This is a superb Omega Speedmaster, model reference ST.145.022. This is the best vintage Omega I’ve had the pleasure to own. The case edges are so clean and sharp, the ‘Tropical’ dial has evenly faded from black to grey/brown. The original 1039 is at full length and with out stretch at the sprung sections (date stamped March 1970). An olive green textile strap is also included.Before the watch came to me, it had been fully serviced by Watches of Switzerland. Subsequently, the watch is in excellent working order. I have obtained an extract from the archives from Omega in Switzerland. It confirms that the watch was delivered to the Spanish market on 19th June 1970. I doubt I’ll see another vintage Speedmaster in such good order.
